Need a button made

Christy over at One Day at a Time has a seriously ill daughter, Cami, that needs our prayers. Cami is a fighter and is surviving against all odds. On top of it all Cami's parents are struggling to keep their home. Cami's care is expensive and they have gotten behind on their house payment due to this. I have asked Christy if she would mind a button being made for her to post on her blog for others to grab and put on their blogs, getting the word out about their need. The problem is that I have no clue how to make one. If anyone can make one (free of charge) for her it would be greatly appreciated! She has several photos of Cami on her blog that would work perfectly on a button. If you are unable to help but know someone that can, please pass the request along. Thanks!!!

  1. Jessica,

I just read the blog and of Cami today through your blog...so I don't know the whole story, but I believe you should compose an email to Ellen Degeneres and tell her about Cami and the families troubles. Maybe she would help. I would write the letter, but it would take me a while to catch up with the whole blog and get a sense of who they are to write the heartfelt letter they deserve, so will you please write her on their behalf?

I, in the meantime, will be praying.

  2. I made a button and put it up on my blog. Take a look at it and see if you think it would be what Christy would like. If so, great! If not, I can tweak it when I get a little more time. If someone else already beat me to it, let me know!

  3. Rebecca, love, love love the button! And I am sure that Christy will too. Would you mind emailing Christy (her email is in her profile page) and let her know how to add the button with the code (in case she doesn't know how to do it...I have no clue)? I really appreciate you doing this!!!!! It is perfect!

  4. I'm so glad you liked it.

I tried to type out the directions here, but it wouldn't let me with all the code jargon. I'll email you and Christy with the instructions to make it clickable and "grabbable". :)
